Masters of Public Policy & Management

The online MPPM program seeks applicants with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five or more years of professional experience in positions beyond entry-level. Candidates’ experience should demonstrate increasing levels of responsibility, leadership, and professional competence, particularly in areas such as budgeting and finance, human resource management, or policy formulation or implementation.

You can apply to the program through the GSPIA Online Application page.

The application requires you to submit:

  • A resume
  • A personal statement of about two double-spaced typed pages, outlining your background and your goals for the program.
  • Two letters of recommendation from past or present supervisors (from paid or volunteer positions you have held).
  • Copies of your undergraduate transcripts (and graduate transcripts, if applicable). You may submit unofficial photocopies at the time of your application; official copies are required if you are admitted and choose to enroll.
  • A non-refundable $50 application fee.

Note that the GRE is not required for online MPPM applicants.

International students who are not US citizens/permanent residents must submit a TOEFL/IELTS score, unless they have completed a degree at a regionally accredited US university, or are citizens of an approved English-speaking country.
